Installing the VideoEngager Application on Genesys Cloud
To install the VideoEngager application. The administrator must first ensure that there are licenses purchased for your organization in order for the application to function. Once this is done, installation can be facilitated by accessing the Genesys cloud admin menu from the button on the top right menu as shown below:
From the Admin menu, click on the link for integrations, located to the right of the menu, as illustrated below:
From the integrations menu, locate the VideoEngager application by searching the Appfoundry and click the install button as shown below:
Clicking the install button will bring up a menu asking for specific permissions and a terms of service agreement. You will need to agree to the terms of service and decide which permissions to grant to proceed:
Once you agree to the terms of service and permissions, VideoEngager will be listed in your integrations. At this point you must add at least one role to your permissions so that it can be seen as an application in your Genesys Cloud deployment. Once the Master Admin role has been added. VideoEngager must be activated and the browser reloaded for the application to load as shown below:
Once the role has been added, the application has been activated and the browser window has been reloaded, the VideoEngager application will display in your applications menu as shown below:
The first time the application is opened it will open up an automated setup for the application as shown below:
This entire process is automated and requires no input on the administrator's part. Once completed, you will be taken to the VideoEngager Application as shown below:
At this point the application is installed, setup and ready for use. In order to gain access to the full functionality of VideoEngager(VideoEngager settings and reporting) the browser must be reloaded at which point the additional functionality will be displayed under the applications menu as shown below:
