Schedule Meeting(General Availability)
Enable and configure Schedule Meeting Feature
The Genesys Administrator now has the option to enable and configure “Schedule Video” Meeting functionality. This can be accessed as follows:
Scroll down towards the bottom of the settings menu to the “Schedule Appointment” option and click the “meeting Information” checkbox. This will expand the “Genesys Callback Parameters” box. Complete the form fields based on your organizational details.
Utilizing Schedule Meeting Feature
Once the Genesys Administrator has enabled the Schedule Meeting feature, Meetings can be scheduled both by the Customer and the Agent.
Customer Scheduled Meeting:
The Schedule Video option will appear in the sidebar and selector menus once it has been enabled. Once the feature is enabled, the customer will be able to select Schedule Video, enter his information and schedule a meeting with an agent.
Agent Scheduled Meeting:
The agent is able to schedule a meeting directly through the VideoEngager application by selecting the New Appointment button. This will bring up a form to enter the customer details. Once this is complete, the meeting information is presented to the agent as well as options for contacting the customer and confirming the meeting.
